Tim Duncan retired from the NBA in 2016 and he did it in the most Tim Duncan way. No fanfare, just a simple press conference to cap 19 seasons. He obtained five NBA championships, 15 All-Star appearances, two MVP and three Finals MVP awards and made approximately 750,000 signature turn-around bank shots. He was a force at both ends: a prolific defender whose versatility on offense generated incredible team chemistry. The Spurs have been the NBA's model team because they adapted with the times. Duncan has been the constant that enabled that innovation. That is DELIVERING EXCEPTIONAL.
